OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To safeguard our community by promptly and effectively responding to fires, medical emergencies and other hazards, prioritizing the preservation of life and property through training, preparedness and dedicated emergency response.
Message from Our Chief
The Fire service in Gulf County is comprised of 11 Volunteer Fire Departments. These volunteers train and work hard to keep the citizens of Gulf County protected.
Welcome to South Gulf County Fire & Rescue, where our focus is providing the highest level of fire protection, rescue, medical response and beach safety to the citizens and visitors of our Community.
Our staffing includes 5 officers and 10 firefighters, numerous Emergency Medical Responders.
We provide services from 2 strategically placed fire stations in an effort to support our Gulf Counties mission to be the safest coastal community in Florida.
